- Unripe (Green) Plantain
- Beans (Cook without oil)
- Beetroot ( Make into Smoothie or add to your salad)
- Oats
- Ginger tea( Home ground ginger) you can add honey to sweeten
- Brown rice or Skinny rice
- Pepper soup( Preferably with sea food)
- Oiless okra
- Salad (This can't be over emphasised....
- minimal cream)
- Corn meal
- Moin-moin
- Smoothies
- Grilled Fish
- Sweet potatoes
- Irish Potatoes
- Whole wheat Pasta
- Nuts.... especially walnuts
- Bananas
- Agidi/Eko ( Don't know the English name :-)
- Avocados
These are some of the foods that helped me maintain a good diet. In other posts, I'll share recipes with you, and ways to combine these foods.
