Lagos Fashion and Design week....

So the Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design week has just been concluded. I followed it keenly on all social media platforms... some people came out looking like it was their university's rag day. I mean why do people struggle to look a hot mess at fashion shows?? In my opinion, Fashion week should have a lot of fashionable guests, not people looking like they chased dem from a bad dream. Woman banned from boarding a plane for wearing "too short" skirt....

I just read that a woman was banned from flying because some airline official felt her skirt was too short... Lol When she talked to managment,they assured her that the said staff where going to be put back in training. I swear down, these Oyibo people's wahala is too much. Ain't nobody got time for that back here Tired stiff!!! Be back in a bit.

The Yogurberry Openining in Port Harcourt

Yogurberry opened its doors to Port Harcourt residents on Saturday the 29th of August 2015.... guests where treated to small chops and the sinfully delicious yogurberry..... a weight watchers delight, as a serving of the yogurt reportedly contains only 25 calories, all sugars and colors of the yogurt are gotten from fresh fruits, so it's completely healthy,has 0% fat and worth indulging in. My encounter with an internet fraudster

Hey people!!! It's been sooooo long. Too much happening at the same time, I pray I stay consistent this time.It feels good to be back tho... To the main story, I had an urgent need, so I immediately went on the Internet to source what I was looking for, I saw many links,and clicked on one for whatever reason.... I go the number, put the call through and all was smooth sailing, until I paid money into the guys account. Suddenly his phones couldn't connect again,meanwhile I had to send the things to the owner, of which I had told them that the stuff will get to them in a couple of hours, so imagine my frustration when this guy turned his phone off. I went ballistic!!! I was hyperventilating!!! I felt sick instantly!!! Long story short, I had to buy the things over again, from a trusted vendor, made my deliveries and had a bit of peace.... then I decided to hunt this criminal down.... I called!!! Text!!! Sent whatsapp messages, he'll just read and not respond. He'll let his phone ring the length, and of course not pick.... then one fine evening, I just thought to myself, so this is how you'll just let that money go like that.....mba nu! Then I constructed a text, literally went all "native doctor " on him! I cursed, swore, abused.... everything in one text, and no jokes, in one second he replied! It was funny, cos I'm like so if I didn't unleash thee unpleasant side of me, this guy would have just been chilling and feeling himself. Anyway, long story short, he has promised to do me a refund today, lets see how that goes. Will be back to give you guys update, and if he doesn't keep to his promise, them I'll have to call him out, so no one else falls for his tricks! And let's be more careful how we transact with people we meet online, not every one there is who or what they say they are. Until next time, keep keeping it real.... Cheers, Data O

Lifes Journey

Someone sent this message to me,and I found it very inspiring, and thought to share....... Read and be lifted Over time I've discovered there is no absolute finish line for everyone in the race of life. Our tracks are different and our durations are different. The only thing we have in common is the same empire. For instance, one person graduates at 20 and struggles for another five years to get a job. Another might graduate at 25 and get a job immediately. One can marry a virgin and wait for the next decade to have children, another lady probably after having series of abortions in her past,becomes a mother almost immediately after marriage. A fellow becomes an MD at 35 and dies at 56, another probably becomes an MD at 56 and lives to 90. What a life? Life is full of twists and turns, ups and downs and many more surprises and disappointments. Life offers each and everyone of us different opportunities and once an opportunity is lost, it's gone forever except by the grace of God. It is up to each one of us to patiently prepare, wait,recognize and utilize every opportunity. We learn on the way, no one has it all, or knows it all. There is a reason why we don't all fall at the same time, its so that when one is down and out, the other who is strong can encourage and lift the other up. God never promised that the road will be easy,but He promised never to leave or forsake us. Although life is complicated, let us learn to go easy on ourselves and trust that God is working it all out for our good. (even if it doesn't make sense now)...... Whatever trials, challenges or down times we face, all shall pass in due course. We will be up and strong again to lift those who may be down around us.....never loose hope, we all have a story to tell someday...... Cheers and have a fab weekend!
