Women are most times the recipients of the brunt in relationships, men are raised to believe they are lords over everyone else, so it's in their DNA to treat people below par and see nothing wrong. As a result of this, women try to put up with too much in relationships, and in the process they find themselves making excuses for the men, and lying to themselves.
Here are 5 common lies women tell themselves :
1. He'll Change: No he won't! Or will he? In most cases, if there'll be any change, it will be change for the worst! If someone unleashes his inner beast t you at anytime, you better take it! That's the real him.
Ps: You can't change anybody, you are not the Holy Spirit.
2. It just feels right, In fact it feels divine: Why you lying sissy? You know how you heart skips when you see his name on your phone not to talk of when you see him in person. You know you are in a Master /Slave relationship, quit the pretence, stop enduring.... take a walk! I promise you, you won't die!
3. I feel like I've know him forever: No you haven't! You've known him for just three weeks, and most conversations are even over the phone. Phone conversations ar no substitute for real life situations. He will tell you whatever you wan to here while hiding behind the phone.Come back and tell me you know him when you've spoilt something of value to him, or when a crazy ass taxi driver bashes his car.Get wise girl!!!
4. If I end th relationship, where do I start from?: Errm you'll have to start from the beginning. It
never hurt no one. Bow out while the ovation is loudest!!! Get out of it first and keep an open mind.... you never know
5. He's the only one that can make it so happy: No he isn't! You are responsible for your own happiness, the first mistake is to think someone is the architect of your happiness, you'll be sorely disappointed. Seek happiness from within, above all, develop and personal relationship with Jesus, in Him our true undiluted happiness lies!
